Summer conference Aug. 9 -10 in Flagstaff

FLAGSTAFF — This summer’s Native American Grant School conference will be held at Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, Arizona on Aug. 9-10, 2024.


The them will be: “Cultural Diversity: Celebrating Differences and Building Bridges”


The agenda is still being developed said event organizers. You can contact NAGSA director Tom Franklin for more information.


The conference will be from Friday Aug. 9 to Saturday Aug. 10. Registration begins at 7 am and the opening events will begin at 8 am. Posting of colors will be Posting of Colors: Birdspring Veterans and Invocation by Mr. Denis Tsosie, Richfield Residential Hall.


“We hope to see a lot of schools attend. We are hoping to share a lot of information,” said Rudie L. John, Board president.

The mission of the Native American Grant School Association is to advocate for, and ensure quality education for all Native American students NAGSA director Tom Franklin said. The organization has 15 member schools.
